Dark molecular clouds are pretty challenging. They need lots of integration time and optimising that image time can best be done in dark skies, as light pollution filters add to the total time needed for the same signal to be gathered. Dark skies it is, so I reserve these objects for my trips to France. Unfortunately, terrible seeing messed up my guiding, so I only gathered 2 hours of useable data. Still, the shark is starting to show, but this object could really benefit from at least 6 more hours of data. To be revisited!!
